In partnership with Aerotek Aviation Engineering Ltd (AAE) of the UK, SIKA has recently established a joint venture company Aerotek Sika, which is a one-stop shop for aircraft landing gear, hydraulic LRUs/assemblies and actuators:

- Recently commissioned in a 22,500 sq.ft. greenfield facility within the 6.5 acre SIKA campus in Bangalore
- Unique distinction of being the first and only dedicated landing gear facility within the private sector in India
- Aerotek Sika has been set up as mirror site—both in terms of facilities and processes— to the AAE plant in the UK, with the certifications and approvals of Aerotek UK being extended over
In the short period since it commenced operations, Aerotek Sika has been audited and approved by:
- The Indian MoD’s Center for Military Airworthiness & Certification (CEMILAC) for “Manufacturing, Assembly, Testing, MRO of Landing Gear, Hydraulic LRUs and Actuators”
- Various divisions of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for both manufacture and MRO of landing gear and hydraulic accessories
